OUTCOMES
From this project I learned the importance of tracking data and studying the analytics of any marketing efforts. While the metrics and data don't show high results, my takeaway from this project was learning how to perform these tasks so I can analyze progress in the future for any project or client I work with.
GOOGLE ANALYTICS RESULTS

Key Takeaways:

-
My website was visited 50 times by only 18 users.
-
Within those 50 website sessions, my website pages were viewed 214 times! That's over four pages per session, meaning they browsed through my site.
-
Each person visited my website about three times.
-
Each session or time my website was visited, the user spent an average of 5 minutes and 30 seconds browsing.
MAILCHIMP RESULTS

Key Takeaways:

-
Two emails were sent out for this newsletter project.
-
40% of the users that were emailed opened their emails.
-
13-20% clicked on the email, which led them to initiate a session and browse the site.
-
While these numbers were low results, they weren't too bad and helped me understand that there's room for improvement.
